Head Coach: Anson Dorrance
On Hannah Daly and the team defense to close out the game after giving up two goals late:
"Hannah is an outstanding athlete and she is becoming a better and better goalkeeper. I thought she came up big. She has wonderful courage, as you could see, in the closing minutes of the game. She also has wonderful athleticism. So she just sort of hung in there like grim death at the end when we were under some severe pressure from a very energized Virginia Tech attack and I thought she really made a difference for us down the stretch."
Crystal Dunn
On what led to giving up two late goals to Virginia Tech:
"I would just say people were a little bit frantic. Yeah, you could say lack of communication, but I think we held it together at the end. There was a little bit a panic at the end, but it happens."
On playing in her first ACC tournament:
"This year is also really important for us because I know we graduated a lot of people last year. So coming into this year, we did have to step up. It's a lot on our shoulders but the [other] girls are definitely helping us."
Meg Morris
On playing in her first ACC tournament:
"There were definitely a lot of nerves. We have a high standard coming in for North Carolina, so we held high expectations for ourselves."
On scoring her first career goal:
"Basically Kealia [Ohai] played an assist to the ball and I saw her receive the ball and I decided to make an overlapping run in behind; and Kealia just kind of flicked a pass and I just ran onto it."
On celebration dance after scoring:
"I was just really excited."
