CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - North Carolina will host Davidson Wednesday at 6 p.m. from Boshamer Stadium for their lone midweek tilt. The Tar Heels are 22-16 overall and resume league play next weekend at Clemson.
Carolina and Davidson have yet to determine a starter for the Wednesday evening meeting.

Carolina is in the midst of a four game losing streak, which is their longest of the season. The Tar Heels present a balanced attack with a .308 team batting average, 4.63 staff ERA and .965 fielding percentage.
Before closing the books on last week's action, TarHeelBlue.com takes a look back at the week that was for the Diamond Heels:
NOTING THE WEEK OF April 14 - APRIL 18:
• UNC suffered a tough week posting an 0-4 record with all losses coming against teams ranked in the top-15. Carolina dropped a midweek contest to No. 9 Coastal Carolina and suffered a series sweep at No. 13 Miami this past weekend.
• The Tar Heels played in their first rain-shortened game of the season Sunday. Carolina took a tough 8-7 loss in eight innings, after the league travel rule and torrential rain limited play to only eight frames.
• Five different Tar Heels posted at least a .300 batting average or better on the week. Carolina posted a .276 team series average against Miami, which is the highest team batting average against a league ranked opponent.
• Levi Michael enjoyed a 6-for-12 performance this week with one home run. Michael registered a 1.111 slugging percentage in three games against Miami en route to a .556 batting average. The sophomore also matched a career-high with three runs scored this weekend. The switch hitter belted his first home run from the right side of the plate Friday at Miami.
• Dillon Hazlett and Brian Goodwin recorded above .400 batting averages in the Miami series. Goodwin registered three doubles and three RBI in three games. Hazlett ranks second on the team with a .333 batting average.
• Veterans Bryant Gaines and Nate Striz each looked promising on the mound this week. Gaines was solid in one inning of relief Wednesday, the junior is less than a year removed from "Tommy John" surgery. Striz fanned two batters in 1.2 innings of work, while allowing just one hit on the week.
• Freshmen Chris Munnelly and Michael Morin each suffered their first losses of the season this week. Munnelly allowed seven runs on just four hits in an 11-1 loss Saturday. Morin, who leads the team with 18 appearances, battled through rainy conditions Sunday allowing three runs in the tough luck loss.
• Carolina used 16 of their 17 pitchers this week as 13 hurlers logged at least one inning on the mound. Staff ace Matt Harvey has thrown at least six innings in each of his last five starts.
• Greg Holt logged his first innings at first base this weekend. Holt, a late game defensive replacement, made a pair of fine defensive plays which included a diving stop to erase a hit for Miami. The junior also threw 2.2 innings of relief this past Wednesday.
• The Carolina pitching staff endured a tough week plagued by walks. The Tar Heels issued 24 walks in 32.2 innings this week. Over 60 percent of those batters walked scored against the Tar Heels. Carolina also allowed 10 home runs on the week.
