UNC Will Compete In 2011 ITA Indoors At Georgia

SKILLMAN, N.J. - The third annual Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Men's Kick-Off Weekend Draft was held last week as teams selected which route they would take to get to the 2011 ITA National Team Indoor Championships. North Carolina will appear in the Athens, Ga. regional for the second successive year and will be the No. 2 seed.
UNC will be joined in Athens by No. 1 seed Georgia as well as No. 3 seed Georgia Tech and No. 4 seed Oklahoma State.
The ITA Kick-Off Weekend, held January 28-31, features 15 host sites with four teams at each site vying to advance to the Team Indoor Championships. The 15 schools that win both of their matches at these events will be invited to play in the February 18-21 ITA National Team Indoor Championships in Seattle, Wash., hosted by the University of Washington.
The No. 1 team in each site will face the No. 4 team. The No. 2 team will face the No. 3 team. Two matches are guaranteed - the winners/losers will play the following day.
