Tar Heels To Go Under The Lights For FWS

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The North Carolina baseball team will kick off the second three-game series as part of the annual Fall World Series Friday night when the Tar Heels take the field at 6 p.m. Carolina will continue the FWS Saturday at 6 p.m. and close the second series Sunday at 1 p.m.
Fans can check out the 2012 Tar Heel squad in action four months before the season kicks off this weekend as the Tar Heels will play the second three-game series of the Fall World Series.
The Blue and White Teams will do battle Friday at 6 p.m. at Boshamer Stadium and will do the same Saturday night at 6 p.m., following the football game vs. Miami. The second series will conclude on Sunday with first pitch set for 1 p.m.
The Blue Team claimed the first three-game set by a 2-1 margin, winning the first and third games.

Friday - Luis Paula (White Team) vs. Tim Brechbuehler (Blue Team), 6 p.m.
Saturday - R.C. Orlan (White Team) vs. Benton Moss (Blue Team), 6 p.m.
Sunday - Chris Munnelly (White Team) vs. Cody Stiles (Blue Team), 1 p.m.
