Men's Soccer Holds Annual Banquet

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Following another successful season the North Carolina men's soccer team hosted their annual banquet Saturday night at the Rizzo Conference Center in Chapel Hill.
The banquet featured a season recap video of the team's accomplishments, including a third consecutive appearance in the NCAA College Cup, an undefeated ACC regular season and a No. 4 national seed in the NCAA Tournament.
Carlos Somoano emceed the event that honored the six Tar Heel seniors, five of which could not be in attendance due to Major League Soccer training camps. Several alumni were in attendance, including the leading scorer of the 1953 squad Rennie Randolph.
Departing head coach Elmar Bolowich also addressed the team thanking them for the opportunity to coach at North Carolina.
