Game Time Vs. Appalachian State Moved To 2 P.M.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - North Carolina and Appalachian State's midweek contest scheduled for Tuesday at 6 p.m. has been moved to a 2 p.m. first pitch due to the threat of rain Tuesday evening. The Tar Heels are 40-12 on the year, while the Mountaineers come in with a 29-23 record.
Carolina is 27-3 at the friendly confines of Boshamer Stadium this season and are 23-2 in non-conference tilts and have won six straight out of ACC play.
Following the midweek contest the Tar Heels will welcome in No. 1 Virginia for a three-game set beginning Thursday night at 7 p.m. in Boshamer Stadium.
