Johnson, Moran Earn Perfect Game All-America Honors

Freshman Colin Moran and senior Patrick Johnson both earned Perfect Game All-America honors this week as Moran was named to the first team and Johnson was a second team selection.
Colin Moran garnered his second first team All-America honor of the week as he was selected as the first team third baseman according to Perfect Game. Moran has paced the Tar Heels with a .335 average and an ACC-leading 69 RBI on the season.
Johnson was named as one of five starting pitchers to the second team after compiling a 13-1 record and a 2.27 ERA. Johnson is one win shy of tying Greg Norris' single season wins record of 14 set in 1978.
