Pair Of Tar Heels Named To Milk Cup Roster

CHICAGO - The United States Soccer Federation announced its 18-player U-18 roster for the upcoming Northern Ireland Milk Cup to be held in Coleraine and Ballymena, Northern Ireland from July 21-30 and it features a pair of incoming Tar Heels. Defenders Jordan McCrary and Boyd Okwuonu will both represent the United States in the event.
McCrary joined the Tar Heels in January and played the spring schedule for Carolina, while Okuwonu will be a fellow freshman this fall.
Okuwonu is currently playing in the Development Academy Finals Week in Milwaukee, Wisc. where he is playing for FC Dallas.
Following the Milk Cup McCrary, Okwuonu and the rest of the Tar Heels will open camp in August before the season opener August 27 against UNC Wilmington.
