ACC Announces Men's Soccer TV Schedule

North Carolina will appear on television or webcast an ACC-high nine times in 2012 the conference office announced Friday.
The Atlantic Coast Conference announced broadcast coverage Friday for the upcoming fall season which will include 26 men's soccer matches. The ACC Tournament semifinals will be carried on ESPN3 and the Championship match will be shown on ESPNU.
The Tar Heels will appear on either television or webcast a league-high nine times in 2012 starting with the season opener against Gardner-Webb (Aug. 25) and ending with the season finale against Boston College ( Nov. 1).
The Tar Heels will be featured in the NSCAA Fox Soccer Game of the Week on Friday, Sept. 21 when Virginia visits Chapel Hill for a 7 p.m. contest.
Carolina will also be on national television Friday, Oct. 19 when it takes to the road to take on Maryland in a 6 p.m. kick on ESPNU.
The Tar Heels will be on ESPN3 six times during the season and one time on the ACC Digital Network on YouTube.
