LOUISVILLE, Ky. - North Carolina is ranked No. 22 in the USA Today/NFCA Division I Top 25 Preseason Poll released by the Association on Tuesday.

The Tar Heels are one of just two ACC schools ranked in the top 25 teams, as Florida State is in the No. 25 spot.

After winning the ACC regular season title, North Carolina finished the 2012 season ranked No. 24 with a 43-15 mark as after the Tar Heels advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the 10th time in the last 12 years.

UNC opens the 2013 season at the Tiger Classic Challenge in Baton Rouge, La., Feb 8-10. Stay tuned to GoHeels.com for more updates and information throughout the season.
