Carolina Makes A Visit To Pitt Saturday Night On ESPN3

The No. 11 North Carolina men's soccer team visits new ACC foe Pittsburgh Saturday night at 7 p.m., on ESPN3. It will be the first meeting between these two programs.
Carolina will look to improve on its 2-0-3 road record in 2013, while Pitt is still looking for its first win of the season. The Panthers enter the match with a 0-8-4 overall record and a 0-6-2 league record.
The Tar Heels enter the weekend fifth in the ACC standings with 11 points off a 2-1-5 ACC record. The top eight clubs make the ACC Tournament.
Carolina continues to be stingy in the goals allowed department, ranking 13th nationally giving up only 0.63 goals per match. Conversely, the Panthers have scored only four goals this season, a 0.33 goals per game average that is 197th in the country.
The Tar Heels will play its next match on the road at Virginia on Friday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m.
Carolina will then return home to host Georgia State on Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 7 p.m., before welcoming NC State on Nov. 8 for the regular-season finale on Friday night at 7 p.m.
