BASEBALL: Kent Emmanuel dazzled with a shutout win in the season opener on Friday against Seton Hall ... Saturday's game was cancelled due to weather, but Carolina pounded Seton Hall on a chilly Sunday afternoon at Boshamer Stadium ... UP NEXT: The Tar Heels will host Coastal Carolina on Monday at 3 p.m. in a makeup contest added to the schedule over the weekend.
MEN'S BASKETBALL: On Wednesday, the Tar Heels lost a tough one at Duke, 73-68 ... Adam Lucas wrote about the loss ... On Saturday, the Tar Heels picked up a big 93-81 win over Virginia ...
