Watts Named EAGL Gymnast Of The Week

North Carolina sophomore Haley Watts has been named the East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) Gymnast of the Week for her performance in Carolina's victory over Maryland.

Watts set personal bests of the vault (9.850), uneven bars (9.775) and floor exercise (9.850) en route to a career-high all-around score of 39.225.

A native of Charlotte, N.C., Watts had one of the top two scores for the Tar Heels in all of these events. Teammate Elizabeth Durkac had been the EAGL Gymnast of the Week in each of the previous two weeks.
