Tar Heels Scrimmage On Friday

CHAPEL HILL --- The Navy squad took a 7-1 lead over the Blue team and held on for a 7-4 win Friday afternoon at Boshamer Stadium in the second scrimmage of the Fall.
Zach Daly drove in two runs for Navy with a two-run homer to right in the ninth. Adrian Chacon had a two-run double in the fifth, while Matt Rubino drove in a pair of runs with a single in the fourth.
Landon Lassiter ripped a triple off the top of the wall in dead center field in the ninth for Blue. He would score on Tanner Bigham's sacrifice fly to right. Later in the inning Adam Pate drove in the final two runs of the game with a single.
Six pitchers took the mound in the scrimmage - Taylore Cherry, Luis Paula, Zach Rice, Chris Oakley, Chris O'Brien and Jack Geraghty.
