Dear Carolina Fans,
Thank you so much for your continued support in making the atmosphere at Fetzer Field an amazing experience. It has been such a blessing to be able to wear a UNC jersey because you realize the legacies that so many previous student-athletes have left behind.
Not only is it an honor to play soccer for UNC, but it also brings me tremendous pride to fight for the UNC community and its family. Your support and commitment to UNC athletics makes it so enjoyable that everyone wishes they could come to UNC to compete in athletic events. I'm one of the lucky ones that is able to experience and cherish those moments. I want to thank you for coming to our games and your generosity, because the immense impact that a home-field advantage can be a deciding factor in a game. Furthermore, having a packed stadium propels future recruits to commit here once they witness the atmosphere that surrounds Fetzer Field.
Although Chapel Hill is second to none in athletics, I chose to come here because I value the educational opportunity for student-athletes at UNC. The academics are exceptional and I've tried my best to absorb as much as I possibly could these last three years. This past summer I had the privilege to travel to Costa Rica on a summer abroad trip through the school to further enhance my Spanish minor. I never would've had the chance to make this trip without the support of you all and I can honestly say it was life changing in many ways.
Second, I've earned a valuable learning experience and made many connections through relationships that are fostered by Kenan-Flagler, UNC's business school. However, I would've never have been able to excel in the classroom at Kenan-Flagler without the resources for athletes, such as teammates, professors, support staff and tutors. The supporting staff that surrounds UNC student-athletes care tremendously about our success and well-being.
None of this would be available to us without your support - so I'm eternally grateful for your belief in the UNC program and I want you to know that we are constantly striving for success, both academically and athletically. We're committed to making you proud.
Thank you!
