CHAPEL HILL — Late Night With Roy Williams, the annual kickoff to basketball season at the University of North Carolina, will be held on Friday October 3 with the theme of "A Night With the Stars." The evening will start at 7:30 p.m. in the Smith Center. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and admission is free with general admission seating.

Don't miss the first opportunity to see the 2014-15 Carolina basketball teams, including the first scrimmage of the fall for the men's team and a chance to welcome back head coach Sylvia Hatchell, who missed all of last season due to leukemia treatment.
Carolina's highly-rated freshman class of Joel Berry II, Justin Jackson and Theo Pinson will make its first public appearance in the Smith Center at Late Night, joining junior All-America guard Marcus Paige and key contributors J.P. Tokoto, Kennedy Meeks, Brice Johnson, Nate Britt and more.
Men's basketball content will include video skits, dances and contests. The UNC women's basketball team also will appear with player introductions, dances and a scrimmage. The next day, the Tar Heel football team will host Virginia Tech at Kenan Stadium at 12:30 p.m.
