Schneider Reserves Spot in Semis of ITA Consolation Draw

TULSA, Okla. - North Carolina sophomore Ronnie Schneider won two matches to move on to the semifinals in the singles consolation draw at the ITA All-American Championships on Saturday at Case Tennis Center.
The 23rd-ranked Schneider defeated Texas A&M's A.J. Catanzariti 7-5, 7-5 in the Round of 16. He then defeated Oklahoma's 16th-ranked Dane Webb, 7-6, 7-6, to punch his ticket to the semifinals.
Schneider will take on UCLA's 13th-ranked Mackenzie McDonald in the semifinals on Sunday at 10 a.m. CST.
The consolation draw winner will earn a berth to the ITA Individual Indoors, which will be held Nov. 6-9 in Flushing Meadow, N.Y.
