#2 UNC Hosts Louisville Sunday In ACC Quarterfinals

CHAPEL HILL - The 2nd-ranked and No. 3-seeded North Carolina men's soccer team hosts 19th-ranked and No. 6-seed Louisville in the quarterfinals of the ACC Championship on Sunday at 1 p.m. at Fetzer Field.
The first 250 students in attendance will receive free pizza and the first 50 will also get an autographed mini soccer ball.
Carolina carries the nation's longest unbeaten streak into the match, having put together a 7-0-1 stretch over the final four weeks of the regular season. The Tar Heels are 12-4-1 overall, and finished 5-2-1 in the ACC.
Louisville lost 1-0 at No. 22 Wake Forest last Saturday in its regular-season finale in Winston-Salem. The Cardinals compiled an 8-6-3 record, 4-3-1 in conference play during their first season in the ACC.
SERIES HISTORY
Sunday will be just the third meeting all-time between UNC and Louisville in men's soccer. Tied 1-1 in the series, Carolina came out on top 2-1 at home early in the 2011 season. The game pitted the #2 Tar Heels against the top-ranked Cardinals. Back in 2010, Louisville upended Carolina, 2-1, in the semifinals of the College Cup in Santa Barbara, Calif.
ACC CHAMPIONSHIP
North Carolina has won three previous ACC Championships in 1987, 2000 and 2011. Louisville is competing in the ACC Championship for the first time. The Cardinals won the 2010 BIG EAST Tournament title and the inaugural American Athletic Conference Tournament in 2013.

Free parking is available on Stadium Drive, Raleigh Road Visitors Lot, Cobb Deck, Boshamer and the Bell Tower Deck. The Rams Head Deck is a pay lot.
