Carolina Softball Diamond Dinner Set For March 21

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Head coach Donna J. Papa is excited to announce the program's inaugural Carolina Softball Diamond Dinner, which will be held Friday, March 21 at the William and Ida Friday Center.
Carolina Panthers head coach and NFL Coach of the Year Ron Rivera will be featured as the keynote speaker, and the event will be emceed by sportscaster and author Dwayne Ballen.
A social, including a silent auction and player autographs, will begin at 6 p.m., and dinner will start at 7 p.m. Some of the many auction items will include the following:
• Bat Girl/Bat Boy Experience for the UNC vs. Alabama two-game series (April 19 and 20)
• Myrtle Beach Condo Trip
• Autographed deck lid by NASCAR legend Mark Martin
• Elliott Sadler autographed driver's uniform
• Autographed Carolina sports memorabilia
Tickets for UNC softball alumna and students are $35, and individual seating is $75. Tickets must be purchased in advance by March 12. Sponsored tables of eight are also available. For more information on sponsoring a table, call 919-962-5552.
