Carolina To Host World Cup Watch Party On Monday

CHAPEL HILL - North Carolina fans, students, staff and members of the community are invited to join the Tar Heel men's and women's soccer players and staff at Spanky's Restaurant & Bar on Monday, June 16 to watch team USA play Ghana in the 2014 World Cup. Kick-off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.

Spanky's Restaurant & Bar is located at 101 East Franklin Street in Chapel Hill. Take advantage of Spanky's Monday night discounts on food and drinks, including 50 cent chicken wings.

Free snacks and beverages will be available. Rameses will make a special appearance and all fans in attendance can enter to win North Carolina men's and women's soccer prizes!

2014 season tickets for the men's and women's soccer teams are on sale now. All season ticket holders will receive pre-game snacks on the party deck, a limited edition UNC soccer t-shirt, a signed schedule poster, and a voucher for an additional men's or women's soccer tickets. Fans who buy or renew season tickets by August 1 will be invited to attend an open practice with the teams and coaching staffs.
