WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Carolina will finish up its exhibition portion of the schedule on Saturday at Wake Forest starting at 7 p.m.

The Tar Heels and Demon Deacons, long standing rivals in the Atlantic Coast Conference, do not play in the regular season this season due to the revised league schedule in 2014.

Split into two divisions for the first time, UNC plays in the Coastal Division, while Wake competes within the Atlantic Division. Each team only plays two opponents from the opposite division and its six divisional foes for a total of eight ACC contests.

Carolina's two Atlantic opponents this season are Boston College and NC State.

The Tar Heel open the regular season by hosting the annual Carolina Nike Classic against California on Friday, Aug. 29 and versus UCLA on Sunday, Aug. 31. Both matches are slated for 7 p.m., and will broadcast live on GoHeelsTV.
