Trayner Recognized For Summer Play

North Carolina sophomore right-hander Spencer Trayner was named the No. 7 prospect in the Florida Collegiate Summer League, Baseball America announced this week. Trayner, who pitched for the Winter Garden Squeeze, struck out 17 batters in 16.2 innings and walked just three.
The Tampa, Florida, product appeared in 12 games for the Squeeze and finished with a 2.16 ERA and three saves. Trayner was also named the No. 3 prospect in the FCSL by Perfect Game USA.
