Harvey To Start Game One Of World Series

Former North Carolina right-hander Matt Harvey will start game one of the 2015 World Series Tuesday night for the New York Mets at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City. Coverage on Fox is set to begin at 8 p.m. ET.
Harvey is set to become the sixth former Tar Heel to play in the Fall Classic and the first since Walt Weiss appeared in the 1999 World Series with Atlanta. Each of the five previous Tar Heels to play in a World Series has won at least one title, led by Snuffy Stirnweiss. Stirnweiss, who played 10 MLB seasons and was an All-Star in 1946, won titles with the Yankees in 1943, 1947 and 1949.
