Campbell Named MAC Hermann Trophy Semifinalist

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - North Carolina senior defender Jonathan Campbell has been named a semifinalist for the 2015 MAC Hermann Trophy, the most prestigious award in college soccer.
Campbell, a first team All-ACC selection this year, is considered one of the top defenders in all of college soccer. Serving as the Tar Heel team captain in 2015, the Greensboro, N.C., native guided his club to the NCAA Round of 16 for the third time in his four seasons in Chapel Hill.
In 20 matches, Campbell also contributed on the offensive side with six total points on one goal and four assists.
NCAA Division I coaches who are current NSCAA College Services members may vote for their top choices Tuesday, Dec. 1 through Thursday, Dec. 10. Soccer fans can also let their collective voice be heard by voting for their favorite player starting Tuesday, Dec. 1.
Six finalists (three men, three women) will be named finalists on Friday, Dec. 11 during the 2015 NCAA Men's College Cup.
