Campbell, George, McCrary Named All-Region

Campbell and George landed on the first team, while McCrary earned third-team honors.
Campbell, a first team All-ACC selection from Greensboro, N.C., garnered his second career all-region selection. As a sophomore, he was designated for the third team in 2013.
The Tar Heel team captain is not only one of the top center backs in college soccer, but also chipped in offensively with six points in his final season in Chapel Hill with one goal and four assists.
George, the ever steady midfielder from Södertälje, Sweden received his first career all-region award from the NSCAA. He started all 20 matches in 2015 and had four goals and two assists for 10 points. Two of his goals were game winners for the Tar Heels.
McCrary, a native of Marietta, Ga., also earned his first career all-region award in his fifth campaign with the program. He started all 20 games for the Tar Heels on defense and tied for the team lead with five assists.
Carolina recorded a 15-2-3 record in 2015 and reached the NCAA Round of 16 for the seventh time in the last eight years.
