Winn, Hume Score In Victory Over Wilmington FC

WILMINGTON, N.C. - Goals from Alan Winn and Tucker Hume propelled the North Carolina men's soccer team to a 2-1 victory over the Wilmington Hammerheads in a spring season match on Saturday, March 21.
The Wilmington Hammerheads compete in the United Soccer League (USL), a professional soccer league in the United States.
Goalkeeper Sam Euler was sharp in goal for the Tar Heels all afternoon, saving a penalty kick in the first half.
The Tar Heels were able to take a two goal lead with Winn and Hume finding the back of the net, before conceding a late penalty kick in the 89th minute.
Carolina continues its spring exhibition season on Tuesday, March 24 against Pass4Soccer.
