Schneider & Schnur Prepare For Singles Play

WACO, TEXAS - University of North Carolina men's tennis sophomores Brayden Schnur (Pickering, Onatrio) and Ronnie Schneider (Bloomington, Ind.) will begin play Wednesday in the singles phase of the 2015 NCAA Division I Men's Tennis Championships. The tournament runs from May 20-25 at Baylor University's Hurd Tennis Center in Waco, Texas.
Both players will be competing in the NCAA singles tournament for the second straight year. Schnur is seeded in the No. 9-16 spot in the 64-man draw. He is ranked 11th nationally in the current Intercollegiate Tennis Association standings. He will face 37th-ranked Felipe Soares of Texas Tech in the NCAA first round.
On the other side of the bracket Ronnie Schneider, ranked 28th, will meet Nick Chappell, ranked 49th, of TCU in first round play.
Both Schnur and Schneider will start their singles matches Wednesday at 9 a.m. CDT (10 a.m. EDT).
