Cloots Makes Cut At CitizenGuard LETAS Trophy

GRAVENWENZEL, Belgium – Leslie Cloots shot one-over 73 in the second round of the CitizenGuard LETAS Trophy on Friday to make the two-round cut. Cloots sits tied for 24th at 3-over par 147 after the first two days of play.
Cloots, a rising junior on the women's golf team, had a fantastic inward nine carding a one-under 35. She started with a bogey on No. 1, but quickly bounced back with an eagle on the par-5 fourth hole. Cloots was the only competitor in the field to eagle in the second round. She parred Nos. 5-7 while ending the front with a birdie and a bogey on eight and nine, respectively.
On the outward nine Cloots had one birdie and three bogeys to shoot a 2-over 38. Her birdie came on No. 16, a hole she doubled the day before.

The CitizenGuard LETAS Trophy is being played at the Rinkven Golf Club, which features a par-72, 5,660-yard layout.
