Engberg, Wilson Added To '15 Recruiting Class

CHAPEL HILL - The North Carolina men's soccer team announced the addition of two student-athletes - Frej Enberg and Sean Wilson - to its 2015 signing class, head coach Carlos Somoano said.
Engberg, from Danderyd, Sweden, is a 6-0 defender that attended high school at Vittra Sodermalm in Stockholm. He played for Djurgarden IF from 2008-14, a club that competes in the top Swedish tier, Allsvenskan. Engberg most recently played with club team IK Sirius in 2014-15.
He has made eight appearances with the U19 Swedish National team.
Wilson, a native of Bethlehem, Pa., spent the last two seasons with the Philadelphia Union Academy, playing alongside fellow UNC 2015 signee Will Campbell. He joined the academy in 2014 after playing with Players Development Academy for three years.
A member of the U.S. national team, beginning with U14 and on through U18, Wilson played for his country at the 2015 Copa Chivas Tournament in Mexico.
He ranks as the No. 4 overall prospect in the 2015 class by the website, O When The Yanks.
The other members of the 2015 UNC signing class include Will Campbell (Wallingford, Pa.), Alex Comsia (N. Vancouver, B.C.), Dominic Jensen (Raleigh, N.C.), Alex Moztarzadeh (Miami, Fla.), Zack Olofson (Raleigh, N.C.), Jelani Pieters (Oswego, Ill.), Martin Salas (Dallas, Texas) and Johan Welch (Richmond, Texas).
