Cloots Finishes Second At Belgium International Ameteur

GANNAPE, Belgium -- Leslie Cloots shot an even par 72 on Saturday to finish second overall at the Belgium International Amateur Championship. Cloots was 7-under 281 for the tournament.
The rising junior on the University of North Carolina women's golf team got off to a great start with a 6-under 66 on Wednesday. She followed that amazing performance with a steady 2-under 70 on Thursday to take sole possesion of first. A 1-over-par 73 on Friday set Cloots back and tied for the lead. Cloots' 72 today was three strokes behind the leader.
Cloots got off to a rough start today with a 38 on the front nine with four bogeys and four birdies, but two birdies on the back got her to even.
