Navy Shuts Out Blue On Friday

Chapel Hill, N.C. -- The Navy squad took a 5-0 win over Blue on Friday afternoon at Boshamer Stadium. Navy's position players were all veterans whle Blue's were all newcomers, leading to two very spirited dugouts.
Navy got its first run in the first inning on Zack Gahagan's RBI-double. Tyler Ramirez ripped a two-RBI double in the second for a 3-0 Navy lead. Zack Gahagan followed with an RBI-single for a 4-0 lead. Alex Raburn drove in the last Navy run with single in the seventh and final inning.
A.J. Bogucki and Jason Morgan got the starts, while Brendon Little, Sage Diehm and Cody Roberts threw in relief.
The Tar Heels will hold their next closed scrimmage on Saturday morning.
