Schneider Continues ITA National Indoors In Consolations

UNC senior Ronnie Schneider continues play in the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championship Friday, heading into the singles consolation bracket after falling on Thursday in his opening match.
Schneider will face Yuta Ito of Texas on Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the USTA-Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y.
Schneider lost 6-4, 7-5 to Ohio State's Hugo Di Feo on Thursday. Ito, the No. 6 seed in the singles bracket, fell to the consolation with a 7-5, 6-7(8), 6-2 loss to Georgia Tech's Chris Eubanks.
