Lindley Named On NSCAA All-America Team

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – North Carolina freshman Cam Lindley earned second team All-America honors by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
Lindley, from Carmel, Indiana, started all 21 matches and recorded seven assists for North Carolina in his 2016 rookie campaign. He was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Freshman of the Year and was a first team All-ACC selection.
Lindley is the only freshman to be named to any of the three NSCAA All-America teams.
The 36 players on the All-America teams will be formally acknowledged for their accomplishments at the NSCAA All-America Luncheon on January 14, 2017 at the Los Angeles Convention Center in conjunction with the 2017 NSCAA Convention.
