February 5, 2016 | Men's Tennis
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The North Carolina men's tennis team, which moved up three spots to No. 7 in this week's national poll, will host No. 5 Oklahoma Sunday at 1 p.m. at Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center.
The matchup with the Sooners is UNC's second top-10, nonconference battle in as many weekends. On Jan. 30, host UNC beat then-No. 7 Illinois 4-0.
The Tar Heels are 5-0 on the season heading into the Oklahoma match. Following Sunday's action, UNC will face more tough competition at the ITA National Men's Indoor Championships, to be held in Charlottesville, Va., Feb. 12-15. UNC qualified by beating Indiana and NC State on ITA Kickoff Weekend Jan. 23-34.
