♦ Notre Dame's 31 made free throws are the second-most by opponents against a Roy Williams-coached Tar Heel team.
♦ Notre Dame's two turnovers are the fewest against a Roy Williams-coached UNC team (previous 4 on three occasions).
♦ Two turnovers by Notre Dame are the fewest by an opponent since officially becoming a stat in 1978-79. Previous low was three on three occasions. Duke had 3 turnovers on 3/8/2002, N.C. State had 3 on 3/9/97 and Clemson had 3 on 3/10/95 (all three were ACC Tournament games).
♦ Iowa was the last team to make as few as three three-pointers in beating UNC.
♦ Marcus Paige led UNC with 21 points, his most since scoring 30 at Florida State on January 4. He matched his season high with five three-pointers (also at FSU).
♦ Ninth time in his career Paige made five or more three pointers. Has school record 259.
♦ Brice Johnson scored 14 points and had 14 rebounds for his fifth straight double double and 14th of the season.
