April 25, 2016 | Baseball
CHAPEL HILL --- North Carolina welcomes a pair of in-state opponents to Boshamer Stadium this week prior to a six-day break for final exams. The Tar Heels host UNCW on Tuesday at 6 p.m. before facing Campbell Wednesday evening at 6. Carolina has dropped five of six to fall to 26-15 on the year after a weekend sweep at Wake Forest. The CAA-leading Seahawks are 27-9 overall and have won 12 games in a row following a three-game sweep of Towson last weekend in Wilmington. Campell is 22-19 on the season after taking two of three at Longwood over the weekend.
Tuesday marks the return of Bacon Night to the Bosh presented by Smithfield. Two lucky fans will have the opportunity to win free bacon for a year and the first 400 UNC students can receive free bacon wrapped grilled cheese sandwiches.
There will be a special bacon night menu at the third-base concession stand featuring grilled cheese sandwiches stuffed with bacon, hot turkey sandwiches with Swiss cheese & bacon on sourdough bread, bacon wrapped corn dogs and BLTs. Each combo meal will include fries and a drink for $10. The first-base grill stand will feature BBQ tater tots with cheese & bacon crumbles, bacon cheeseburgers and other items incorporating Smithfield bacon.
Great tickets are still available starting at only $5 by clicking here.
