Tar Heels Compete At Symetra Classic

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Three former Tar Heel women golfers and current student-athlete Kelly Whaley will compete in the Symetra Classic Friday-Sunday. Whaley received a sponsorship exemption to play in the Symetra Tour tournament.

Katherine Perry, Catherine O'Donnell and Allie White are competing as Symetra Tour members and former Tar Heels. Whaley just finished competing at the NCAA Stanford Regional where the women's team qualified for the NCAA Championships, the first since 2012.

The Symetra Classic is being played at the Raintree Country club which features a par 72, 6,229-yard layout. Live results for the tournament can be found on here.
