Tar Heels On The LPGA And Symetra Tours

GALLOWAY, N.J. -- Casey Grice fired a 6-under par 65 at the Shoprite LPGA Classic on Friday. Grice is tied for fourth heading into round two.
Grice, in her first year on the LPGA tour, posted seven birdies to just one bogey in her first round. Incoming freshman Brynn Walker is also competing in the event as an amateur and is tied for 138th.
Also on the links this weekend are former Heels Catherine O'Donnell, Maia Schechter, Heather Angell and Katherine Perry at the Symetra Tour's Fuccillo Kia Championship at Capital Hills.
O'Donnell is tied for second after a first round 4-under par. Schechter is 1-under and tied for 20th while Angell is 3-over and Perry is 4-over.
