DAVIDSON, North Carolina - The No. 8 North Carolina men's soccer team closed out its exhibition season with a 3-0 victory at Davidson on Saturday evening.

The Tar Heels received goals from junior midfielders Drew Murphy and David October, and freshman Cam Lindley in the win over the host Wildcats.

Carolina opens the season on Friday against Cal Poly at 7:30 p.m., from Fetzer Field.
