Pineda Named On TDS Team Of The Week

Pineda and his back line mates limited its two opponents to a combined one shot on goal, including holding Saint Louis to zero shots on Sunday evening.
The freshman from Bolingbrook, Illinois, also scored his first collegiate goal for the Tar Heels on Sunday against the Billikins.
Fellow freshman teammate Cam Lindley earned consideration for the team of the week by TDS. Lindley started both matches in the midfield, had five shots, and distributed an assist on Zach Wright's goal against Saint Louis.
Carolina hosts NC State on Friday at 7:30 p.m. The annual student t-shirt giveaway will occur that evening, while UNC soccer ball maracas will be handed out to the first 250 fans. The Family 4 Pack is back, featuring 4 tickets for $10.
