Heels Wrap Up Second Week Of Scrimmages

Chapel Hill, N.C. - The North Carolina Tar Heels wrapped up their second week of scrimmages on a hot and humid Sunday afternoon at Boshamer Stadium.
Aaron Greenfield and Kyle Datres both had three-hit games. Greenfield was 3-5 with five RBI, while Datres was 3-6 with one RBI and three runs scored. Ike Freeman, Jake Holtzapple and Cole Gibbs each had two-hit games. Freeman was 2-4 with two runs scored, Holtzapple was 2-4 and Gibbs was 2-5 with three RBI and one run scored.
Brandon Martorano and Adam Pate each had home runs. Datres, Michael Busch, Greenfield and Logan Warmoth all had a double.
Austin Bergner and Robbie Peto started, with J.T. Rogoszewski, Josh Hiatt and Logan Welch throwing in relief.
The Tar Heels will hold their next closed scrimmage on Friday.
