Schneider Ranked No. 10 In Preseason Rankings

UNC's Ronnie Schneider will open his senior year ranked No. 10 nationally in singles, according to the Oracle/ITA Division I men's tennis preseason rankings, released on Tuesday.
The ranking matches Schneider's career best, achieved in February of 2016.
Junior Robert Kelly is also in the singles rankings, at No. 78.
Both Schneider and Kelly also show up on the doubles list. Kelly and incoming freshman Simon Soendergaard are ranked No. 25 and Schneider and senior Jack Murray are tied for 33rd.

The Tar Heels open the fall season this weekend, playing in Cary, N.C., and Meadowood, Calif.
Those competing in California at the Napa Valley Tennis Classic are Blaine Boyden, Anu Kodali, Jack Murray and Arturo Schmidt.
Those competing in Cary at the Duke James Bonk Invitational are Robert Kelly, Josh Peck, Ladd Harrison and Chad Hoskins.
