Leslie Cloots shot 2-under 70 on Thursday at the World Amateur Team Championships to move Belgium into 24th. Cloots is tied for 18th following her impressive round.

Cloots, a senior on the women's golf team, rolled in six birdies in the round after failing to earn a single birdie yesterday. Only five competitors in the field had a better round today. Cloots' 70 jumped her into a tie for 18th. Cloots still has two 18-hole rounds to go.
