Carolina Wraps Up Third Weekend Of Scrimmages

Chapel Hill, N.C. - The North Carolina Tar Heels scrimmaged for nine full innings on Sunday afternoon on a very hot and muggy day at the Bosh.
The biggest hit of the scrimmage was a bases-loaded double by Brian Miller that drove in three runs. Zack Gahagan had a solo home run, and Josh Ladowski and Brendan Illies also had doubles.
Jake Holtzapple, Josh Ladowski, Michael Busch and Zack Gahagan all had two hits apiece.
Robbie Peto and Josh Hiatt were the starters, with Austin Bergner, J.T. Rogoszewski and Logan Welch throwing in relief.
Carolina's next scrimmage is tentatively scheduled for Friday.
