Heels Scrimmage In The Heat On Sunday

Chapel Hill, NC- The North Carolina Tar Heels held a full nine-inning scrimmage in 83 degree weather on Sunday as the Blue team took a 6-4 win on a perfect day for baseball at the Bosh.
Four players had multiple hit games. Adam Pate was 2-4 with a two-run home run. Tyler Lynn was 2-4 with one RBI and one run scored. Ike Freeman was 2-5 with two RBIs and one run scored, while Cody Roberts was 2-5 with a double and one RBI and two runs scored.
Luca Dalatri and Zach Attianese got the starts. Teddy Sabato, Evan Odum, Tyler Baum, Brett Daniels, Robbie Peto, Trevor Gay and Austin Bergner threw in relief.
Carolina wil hold its final preseason scrimmage on Tuesday. The Tar Heels will open the 2017 season at home against Kentucky on Friday at 3:00 p.m.
