CHAPEL HILL - Fresh off its run to the College Cup last fall, the North Carolina men's soccer team returns to the pitch for five matches during its 2017 spring schedule.

Carolina opens the slate on Saturday, Feb. 25 against North Carolina FC on its home grounds of WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C. at 12 p.m.

The Tar Heels follow up its opener with another local pro club, Charlotte Independence, on Saturday, March 4 at Wingate University in Wingate, N.C. Kick off is scheduled for 2 p.m.

UNC returns to action two weeks later against South Carolina on Saturday, March 25 at Manchester Meadows in Rock Hill, S.C., at 3 p.m.

The spring comes to a conclusion with a couple familiar foes. First up is Maryland on Saturday, April 1 at Bryan Park in Greensboro, N.C., at 1 p.m., followed by Georgetown in Richmond, Virginia on Saturday, April 22. A location and kick off time has not been determined.
