Carolina Scrimmages In Cary

Cary, NC - The North Carolina Tar Heels held a full nine-inning scrimmage at the sun-drenched USA Baseball Complex in Cary, N.C. on Sunday afternoon with Navy taking a 3-2 win.
Michael Busch and Brandon Riley were the only players with multiple base hits. Busch was 2-5 with a triple, while Riley was also 2-5. Brian Miller's double to center was the only other extra base hit.
Luca Dalatri and Rodney Hutchison were the starters. Dalatri gave up two earned runs in 6.0 innings while striking out four and giving up four base hits. Hutchison gave up one earned run in 5.0 innings while striking out four and giving up three hits.
Robbbie Peto, Bo Weiss, Teddy Sabato, Hansen Butler and Evan Odum all saw action on the mound in relief.
Carolina will next scrimmage on Monday afternoon at the Bosh.
