Diane Sherrard
Development Associate, Scholarship & Legacy Gifts
Diane serves as the Development Associate for Scholarship and Legacy Gifts. Her primary responsibilities include assisting the Scholarship and Legacy Gifts team with soliciting, cultivating, and stewarding scholarship donors.
Diane graduated from the University of Florida with a BA in Sport Administration, a Minor in Business Administration, as well as a Masters degree in Sport Administration. While attending UF, Diane was a 4-time letter winner in swimming, an Olympic Trial Qualifier, and a 6-time All-American.
After graduation, Diane worked in the UF Athletic Association developing experience in Operations, Compliance, and the Athletic Director's office. Prior to her family's move to North Carolina, Diane owned and operated a successful Swim School in Lakeland, FL, as well as co-owned the swim team, Lakeland Area Swimming.
A native of Lafayette, LA, Diane currently lives in Durham with her husband Duncan, an assistant coach of the UNC Swimming and Diving team, and their children, Reagan and Nathan.
