Tar Heels To Watch: Taylor Leath

No. 11 North Carolina team captain Taylor Leath returns to the court for her redshirt-junior season after earning AVCA All-America Second Team honors. The opposite hitter was named ACC Player of the Year after leading Carolina to its 13th conference title in 2016 and was influential in UNC's program-record three wins over top-10 teams throughout the season.
The Tar Heels open the regular season on Friday, Aug. 25, in Madison, Wisconsin, at the ACC/Big Ten Challenge, where UNC will square off with No. 4 Minnesota and No. 7 Wisconsin in a battle for conference bragging rights.
