UNC Hosts 15th Kitty Harrison Invitational

CHAPEL HILL - The North Carolina women's tennis program will host the 15th-annual Kitty Harrison Invitational this weekend. The tournament will be at the Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center in Chapel Hill and at Duke University in Durham.
Named in honor of former UNC head coach Kitty Harrison, the event features 17 teams from throughout the country, including ACC squads Duke, NC State and Virginia, in addition to the host Tar Heels.
In Chapel Hill, doubles play gets the tournament underway at 9 a.m., on Friday, followed by singles at 12:30 p.m.
Saturday continues with doubles in the morning starting at 9 a.m., and followed by singles at 1 p.m.
The weekend comes to a close on Sunday with singles matches at 9 a.m.
Admission to all matches, which will be played both inside and outside, weather permitting, is free.
